Ambassador Julia Chang Bloch, Founder & President, US-China Education Trust

Ambassador Julia Chang Bloch, the first Asian American to hold such rank in U.S. history, has had an extensive career in international affairs and government service, beginning in 1964 as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Sabah, Malaysia and culminating as U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Nepal in 1989.

Dr. Sachiko Kuno, Co-Founder, President, & CEO, S&R Foundation

Dr. Sachiko Kuno studied biochemistry and biochemical engineering as one of a few Japanese female scientists. She obtained her Ph.D. in biochemical engineering from Kyoto University, Japan and has conducted post-doctoral research at the Technical University of Munich, Germany.

Professor Young-Key Kim-Renaud (Emeritus), George Washington University

Dr. Kim-Renaud is Professor ameritus of Korean Language, Culture and International Affairs at The George Washington University. She has received major research awards/grants and has been interviewed by various U.S. and Korean media, including the U.S. National Public Radio, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Korean KBS, MBC, YTN, and Segye Times.

Cynthia McGee, SVP & Senior Private Banker of Wells Fargo’s Private Bank in Washington DC.

Ms. McGee has more than 20 years of experience in banking and lending. She specializes in wealth management services and tailored solutions that help meet client’s unique and complex financial needs.

Mr. Brooks is the Managing Partner of Glen Echo Capital, a private equity firm focused on investing in small and medium-sized businesses in the industrial, business services and technology sectors.

Dr. Jim Kyung-Soo Liew is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and revels in pushing the boundaries of financial knowledge and product development both as an academic and FinTech Data Scientist.

Mr. Lin has been in the real industry since 1983. He founded CapStar Commercial Real Estate Services in 1994 and developed the organization into a recognized leader in leasing, tenant representation, property management, business valuation and acquisition, risk management, market analysis, and green energy.

Dr. Lay Nam Chang

Dr. Chang is the former Dean of the College of Science at Virginia Tech and Professor of Physics. Prior to this position, Dr. Chang was the Chair of the Department of Physics since 1995.

Dr. Song is a physician, healthcare activist, and biotechnology executive who currently serves as the Executive Chairman of the Courage Campaign, a progressive online organization of 900,000 members. 

Duke Chung, Founder of Parature

Hiroaki Kuwajima

Mr. Kuwajima is the CFO at Aoyama Shachu Corporation, a Japanese policy advisory and consultancy firm. His policy expertise is in Japanese political economy. Previously, as a Senior Associate for Dream Incubator in Tokyo, he provided strategy consulting for top-tier Japanese corporations in multiple industries (IT, Healthcare, Electronics and Private Equity), especially focusing on globalizing clients’ operations in Asia.

Mr. Tam is Managing Director of Financial Services at Neustar Inc., an innovator in real-time information services and analytics based in Washington, D.C. Previously he was previsouly VP and General Manager of Mobile Self-Service at Millennial Media, where he led revenue growth globally, growing the business to a multi-million dollar operation in 10 months.

Kenneth Lench
